Mr Ghauri is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist with an established medico-legal practice specialising in general and paediatric ophthalmology.
Since March 2018, Mr Ghauri has acted as an expert witness in personal injury, clinical negligence and non-accidental injury (NAI) cases, preparing detailed expert reports and giving evidence in court. He has considerable experience in NAI/abusive head trauma. Mr Ghauri regularly gives oral evidence in both Family and Criminal Courts.
His medico-legal work draws on over a decade of clinical experience across leading UK Ophthalmic institutions.
